It was recently thaksgiving so this one's in regognition of all those who have made me today (I apologise to all those not mentioned, I cant write forever so some people were omitted, thanks for understanding =] )

A Little Time for Thanks

Showing me
The joys
Of poetry.

Mrs. Kopp for
Believing
That I should
Give it a try.

Mrs.Woz for
Showing me the way
And lighting the fire
That burns inside.

Mr.Verlie for
Teaching me to
Interpret not to
Just regurgitate.

Ceara for helping me
Find my smile
Made me realize
It was all worthwhile.

Alicia for always
Talking to me
Me laughing;
Was a guarantee.

Three, six and five
Have all helped me survive,
More than they'll ever know
Helped me live, helped me grow.

Now comes the others
Not less important a bit
And if happen to be one,
Please don't throw a fit.
Ive saved the best for last,
And omitted some too,
For my list would stretch,
To Kalamazoo
If I included all those
Who have helped me through!

Kate for inspiring me,
to do what I do
because nothing good comes
from being so blue.

Chad for being there
When I needed him most,
Even bought me coffee
But I shouldn't boast.

Mr. Keating for teaching me
To go my own way,
Think as I want,
Not obliged to obey.

Now it's getting long
Im getting short on time,
Short on descriptions
Short on rhymes.

So now I thank everyone,
For all that you've done,
You've really changed my life;
Made it more fun,
Lessened the strife.
I thank you again,
For all that you've done-
The war isn't over,
But this battle is won.
