Love Letter To A Willow Tree

Once again, another old english project...
Love Letter to a Willow Tree

I love the way your branches hang,
And the way you shade my lawn.
I love the way you swing and sway.
I love what has forgone.

I love the way you're always there.
I love it when you slough.
I love they way you have listened,
Even when you've had enough.

I love the way you glow at dawn,
And the way you shine at night.
I love the way your colors change,
You are a true delight.

I love it that you're just a tree,
And the fact that you are so tall.
But mostlyI love that no one else loves you,
Not even close,
Not even a little,
Not at all.

-Jon Wimer

PS:The rhyme scheme and rhythm WAS borrowed from the poem in the movie "10 Things I Hate About You"
